2007 Citizen's Guide to Government available PDF Print E-mail

The League of Women Voters of Susquehanna County publishes a very useful "Citizen's Guide to Government in Susquehanna County" each year. The 2007 edition is now available. The PDF can be viewed and printed here. The content is now available in its section on this site as well, and has just been updated with the current information on federal, state, and local government officials.
Donations are welcome to help defray the cost of the printed Guide, which is available at various locations around the county and from League members. Please make your donation payable to:

Founded in 1920, the League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages citizens to play an informed and active role in government. At the local, state and national levels, the League works to influence public policy through education and advocacy. Any person of voting age, male or female, may become a League member.

The League meets six times a year, three times in the fall and three times in the spring months. Meetings are educational and informational, addressing issues of current local, state or national interest. The public is cordially invited to attend all meetings.
