A new non-partisan, grassroots organization is starting up in Susquehanna County: the Civic Action Network (CAN). Meetings are the second Sunday of the month, from 2pm-4pm. The next meeting is on March 8th at the Quest Center in Hop Bottom. Everyone is welcome. The group is still working on a mission statement, but the basic goal is to work for the betterment of our community across different interest groups, joining with the many excellent groups already in existence to make progress on our common goals.
